Symantec AntiVirus caused an error message in Outlook 2002

If you open an e-mail in Outlook 2002 and received the following error message:

"The add-in 'C:\Program Files\Symantec_Client_Security\Symantec AntiVirus...' could not be installed or loaded.
This problem may be resolved by using Detect and Repair on the Help menu. ...here is what you need to do:
Symantec reports that using Detect and Repair will not work. The problem happens because Outlook is looking for Vpmsece.dll in the Extend.dat file, and the location has changed.
Follow the directions at Document 2004060116454248 on Symantec's Knowledge Base website. It may involve downloading a fix tool.
